Here are some tidbits about this week’s broadcaster assignments:
- John Buccigross will be alongside AJ Mleczko for the fourth time this season on Tuesday from Anaheim. This will also be the first time the pairing has called an ESPN game from the Honda Center.
- On Wednesday, the pairings of Burke-Botterill-Boucher and Albert-Olczyk-Pang will be together for the first time during the NHL on TNT’s contract.
- Sean McDonough will be calling his fourth NHL game of the season, along with his first from MSG since last year’s game six in the Devils-Rangers opening-round series.
Something else that is worthy to note is on Wednesday, the NHL on TNT’s game between the Hurricanes and Bruins game will be non-exclusive. Fans in the Bruins market will need to watch through NESN.
In total, there will be four nationally televised games across the networks of ESPN and TNT this week. Enjoy the games, everyone!
