Viewership Prediction for the 2024 NHL Stadium Series

Tonight, the first of two games in the 2024 NHL Stadium Series will take place, as the Flyers and Devils drop the puck at 8:00 p.m. ET on ABC at MetLife Stadium. This will be the first time since 2016 that the Stadium Series has had more than one game as part of the event. Last year, the Stadium Series moved back to broadcast, with the Capitals and Hurricanes airing on ABC on a Saturday night in February. With this move, the viewership increased, as the 2023 event was the most-watched Stadium Series since 2019, as the game averaged 1,100,000 viewers. This year, the two games in the Stadium Series feature the Flyers-Devils and Rangers-Islanders, so how will that fare in terms of viewership?
